About KSMS
Our school owes its inception to the visionary initiative of “The Subramaniam Chettiar Kamalam Aachi Educational Trust” which was founded by Shriman. A.Subramaniam Chettiar, with the noble aim of providing quality education to the people of Thanjavur. Established in 1989, the Trust laid the cornerstone for our institution’s journey towards excellence. Our Esteemed Founder Correspondent was not only the visionary but also the guiding light that illuminated our path to excellence. He was one of the most successful businessmen of Thanjavur. He envisioned a school where every individual of Thanjavur could flourish and reach their highest potential. His dedication, passion and unwavering commitment to education have left an indelible mark on our school community and the lives of countless students.
Then in 1997, the Charismatic Chairman & The Managing Trustee Thiru.SP. ValliappaChettiar took over the charge and KSMS has changed dramatically over 34 years, keeping up with the time in every way emphazingit’s core mission of education – the Holistic development of a child.
Under his dynamic leadership and futuristic vision, KSMS blossomed into the No.1 educational institution in Thanjavur district.
